Exhaust Gas Boilers – Applications
Steam or Hot Water can be produced using the heat in the waste gases from diesel engines, gas turbines, incinerators, ovens, furnaces and many other processes.
On marine installations the Clayton Exhaust Gas Boiler has been used extensively for over 50 years to recover heat from the exhaust of main propulsion and power generating diesel engines. On-board ships a separate oil-fired Clayton Steam Generator is often supplied in conjunction with the Clayton Exhaust Gas Boiler for use when the vessel is in port. On gas turbine applications the Clayton Exhaust Gas Boiler can be used for applications up to 15 MWe.
