SPECIAL STEAM GENERATOR APPLICATIONS
High Pressure & Superheated Steam
The robust Clayton heating coil is designed to withstand the damaging effects of expansion and contraction during rapid heating and cooling. This makes the Clayton Steam Generator ideal for use in superheated and high pressure applications.
On Superheated Clayton Steam Generators the feedwater is directed to the top layer of coil where it is pre-heated as it spirals downwards and passes into the high efficiency steam separator. Dry steam from the separator is then directed to the integral superheating coil section where the desired steam temperation is produced.
Our Steam Generator range can be designed to run on natural gas, LPG, biofuels, electricity and light oil and are available as dual fuel oil/gas versions.
Steam pressures of up to 200 barg are possible in many sizes as well as superheated steam versions.
